Guys,
Thought you might like to see the buck my grandson Jory shot this past Saturday morning (1/13/07 while you were at the SS) with the 6.8 at 115 yards with Hornady 110 Vmax bullets. The deer went straight down in place. The shot went through the shoulders, and I recovered what was left just under the skin on the opposite side. You can see the blood at the entry point just below the point of the buck's ear.

I couldn’t wait to take a coyote with my new DPMS LR-243. This is a prime 35 lb. Michigan coyote shot at 150 yards. I can’t wait to take this gun out west for some longer range predator hunting. This is the absolute perfect coyote gun!

Here is a picture of an antelope that I killed today, using your big 308. The rifle does well on the range and in the field. I use a Leupold 10X, and 150 grain handloads, that group better than Federal Premium. --CB Williams
