Law Enforcement Agency Ordering Rifles Directly
Rifles can ship directly to a department
If the rifle is shipping directly to the department, we must have the following:
a. NFA (National Firearms Act) Restricted Law Letter
(Fill out, print and send the form to Steve Esping). This document states that
the rifle is restricted by the National Firearms Act
and is to be used for Law Enforcement purposes only
. This document
applies to all firearms shipping to or being sold to a Law Enforcement Agency.Note: older browsers [CLICK HERE]
b. Federal Excise Tax Exemption Form
c. Purchase Order for rifles or official request on letterhead.
d. Full Auto or Short Barrel rifles can be ordered by a departmentPlease allow 60-90 days for ATF paperwork to process.
